Thirty-one organizations achieve certification in Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations
TORONTO, ON, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) announces that 31 Canadian organizations have achieved Gold-, Silver- or Bronze-level certification through the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program.
With PAIR marking its 25th anniversary of integrating economic reconciliation through business, this year’s certified organizations reflect the continued growth and impact of a program that has helped measure and advance Indigenous relations in Canadian business since 2001.
“As we celebrate 25 years of PAIR, we are recognizing organizations that have demonstrated that they understand strong Indigenous relations are built through trust, accountability and consistency,” says Tabatha Bull, President and CEO of CCIB. “This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made and the work that continues. The organizations certified this year have shown a willingness to listen, learn and take meaningful and measurable action.”
Through independent verification by Indigenous jury members, PAIR certification recognizes organizations that demonstrate performance across four key areas: leadership actions, employment, business development and community relationships. The certification process confirms an organization’s commitment to building and maintaining meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses.
The 2026 certified organizations will be recognized at the Indigenous Relations Forum & PAIR Awards on Oct. 14, 2026 in Vancouver, B.C., where CCIB will celebrate the program's 25th anniversary.
