Sirens Get Activated in Golan Heights

(MENAFN) Sirens rang out on Sunday across the Golan Heights after authorities identified a drone entering the area, according to Israel’s Home Front Command.

The command reported that warning sirens were triggered after systems detected an aerial breach involving an unmanned aerial vehicle, though it did not disclose further information regarding the origin of the drone or whether any damage had occurred.

The incident unfolded as military friction continues to intensify across the region, which has recently experienced elevated security warnings alongside rocket fire and drone activity.

In recent days, Israel has repeatedly stated that its defense systems intercepted drones and rockets launched from multiple locations throughout the region.
